How do I claim my free notes?

Once you’ve created a Coverfly account, filled out your profile, and verified your WGA status, you can claim your free notes here. You’ll also receive an email with instructions.

What do the free notes include?

The notes include a a few pages of productive notes, and industry-level recommendations. Here are some example coverage reports.

Are these benefits also for WGA Caucus members?

No. At this time, benefits are for WGA West and WGA East current or former members only, and not for WGA Caucus members.

How do I verify my WGA membership?

Are there benefits for any other guilds?

Not at this time. However, you can still add other guild memberships, like IATSE, to your profile.

Why are you providing these services to WGA members?

Coverfly connects writers and industry professionals looking for writers and projects. By the year 2025, we estimate that 80% of newly-registered WGA members will have been discovered through Coverfly or a Coverfly-qualifying program. Our WGA Benefits program allows us to continue to support those writers into their professional writing careers.

I have some friends in the WGA. Do I get anything if I tell them about Coverfly’s WGA benefits program?

Yes! When you refer a WGA member and they claim their set of benefits, you’ll receive a 30% discount on any WeScreenplay coverage. Your referral discount code will be emailed to you when another WGA member validates their membership.

What happens during the consultation with the Coverfly Development Team?

This 15-minute call is a one-on-one consultation with a member of the Coverfly Writer Development team. You’ll discuss short- and long-term goals, identify career opportunities, and strategize. The aim is to help you book more writing gigs and advance your career.
