Any questions?  Here are a few answers.

Will I be able to re-watch the Career Lab?

Some of it, yes.  All Pro Talks will be live but recorded for later viewing.  Unfortunately, out of respect for our writer attendees, we will not be recording the workshops.

Will I get anything else for attending?

Yes!  Every attendee will receive worksheets with tips and guides to help personalize each session's topics.

What is the schedule for each day?

The Pro Talk will be from 3:00p - 3:30p PDT.
The Workshops will be from 3:40p - 4:40p PDT.
The Shop Talk Networking will be from 4:45 - 5:30p PDT.

I'm just starting to write. Is it too early for me to attend?

It's actually a great time to attend.  While some of the information may not be as useful to you right now, it will give you a better sense of where you should be putting your energy.

I already have representation and am just looking for a gig. Should I attend?

If you have active representation, and you're already taking meetings, then you may only find useful information in the last two sessions.  However, the earlier sessions may still provide benefits with networking opportunities and workshops.

I only want to attend a specific session. Is the price the same for the rest of the series?

Yes.  We purposefully kept the entire series cost low to ensure writers received great benefits even if only attending 1 session.  As an attendee, if you miss any of the sessions, you will still have access to all worksheets, and recordings of the Pro Talk sessions.

Will I be able to pitch my materials to the industry professionals and reps present?

Please approach interactions with Career Lab professionals looking to gain knowledge, insights, and strategies.  While writers will be discussing their unique projects and place in the workshops, we will not allow pitching for the sake of selling projects or gaining representation.

FYI., industry professionals see it as bad taste if you simply see them as someone to hear your pitches.  They are opening up their time to help writers, and we do not want them to feel guarded from writers looking to pitch to them.
